JOE LYNN TURNER Interviewed On 'Decades Of Distortion'
January 20, 2010Classic Rock Revisited editor Jeb Wright recently conducted an interview with legendary hard rock vocalist Joe Lynn Turner (RAINBOW, DEEP PURPLE, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN) for the "Decades Of Distortion" show on the Arkansas City, Kansas radio station KACY 102.5 FM. Joe Lynn Turner released his first live solo CD, "Live In Germany", in October 2008 via Frontiers Records. The CD was recorded at the United Forces Of Rock Festival in Ludwigsburg, Germany on September 30, 2007 and features some of the all-time classic songs that Joe has performed with RAINBOW and DEEP PURPLE, along with some of the newest tracks in his solo repertoire.
Joe Lynn Turner spent much of 2009 touring with OVER THE RAINBOW, which also features fellow ex-RAINBOW members Bobby Rondinelli on drums, Greg Smith on bass and Paul Morris on keyboards, alongside the son of the iconic RAINBOW founder/guitarist Ritchie Blackmore, Jürgen Blackmore, on guitar.
